The Hello Group (THG) has signed Canadian-Indian singer-songwriter Jonita Gandhi to an exclusive international management and bookings deal, covering all territories outside India. The 35-year-old continues to be represented in India exclusively by Represent and DCA.

Two months after the launch of The Hello Group India (THG India), the joint venture between Sony Music India and The Hello Group has revealed its first major artist signing. It’s playback and pop singer Nikhita Gandhi with whom they’ve sealed an exclusive worldwide management and bookings deal.

Music industry leader Sherish Shaikh has been appointed as Vice President, Talent Management & Strategy at The Hello Group India, a joint-venture between international entertainment conglomerate The Hello Group and Sony Music Entertainment India.

Sony Music is once again expanding its presence in the booming Indian music market, with Sony Music India forming a joint venture with Los Angeles-headquartered The Hello Group. The new THG India aims to fill what Sony calls a “critical gap” in sophisticated talent management and live touring infrastructure in India.

Xpertnest, a global technology company led by Odisha-origin entrepreneur Arun Kar, has invested $1 million in BharatEarns, an embedded finance platform. The investment, part of company’s pre-Series A funding round.
